About Me - And Why You Should Care
In The Beginning
I studied for two years at Centennial Job Corps before attending undergraduate studies at Boise State University, first majoring in Marketing and Economics and later, Computer Science.
The First Viel of Success
I left school when I was recruited by Hewlett Packard before spinning off the start-up Wilder Technologies with two other HP employees.
The Trenches
I took the lessons I learned in the fierce world of software startups and launched EasyAd Marketing Software Corp at 26, where I served as the CEO and managing director. I quickly led EasyAd to profitability and market dominance in under six months, ultimately earning over a 1.6 million dollars in revenue. EasyAd was later dismantled after a lengthy legal battle w/ Craigslist Inc.
The Hat Trick
Later, I founded Mesiab Labs LLC, a software development company focused on Social Media Marketing. We released several ground breaking applications from the beautiful North Shore of Oahu. Mesiab Labs is still happily innovating products for its many thousands of customers. Mesiab Labs is most noted for its Hummingbird for Twitter products and the famous Retweet.com website and subsequent record breaking sale.
Going Corporate
In late 2010 I co-founded Jounce, Inc, which closed on its Series A funding round that year.
I served as the Chariman of the Board and the Chief Technology Officer. Jounce's amazing team of talented developers are hard at work changing performance based marketing at http://instapage.com
For The Love Of Music
I co-founded this media website in late 2011 to showcase talented 'home grown' musicians. I called upon a good friend to partner on the project. With his leadership and the help of our diligent team of authors and editors Breakouthits.com is presently driving up its readership and solidifying Breakout's brand name.
Breakouthits' featured artists enjoy explosive exposure thanks to our rabid fan base and deep social engagement, Breakouthits.com enjoys end over end traffic growth and a healthy future, yet as a humble start-up project, can still deliver over a hundred thousand hits in two to three days for popular music.
The Future
Ultimately, the future holds limitless possibility. I presently lead three technology companies.
Play
When I'm not starting businesses or developing software, I am reading a book, riding a bike, playing a guitar, the drums or a piano, surfing and or diving, not necessarily in that order.
